This morning (October 12, 2025), container ship VIETSUN RELIANCE has officially arrived at Ben Nghe port (HCMC), marking the final destination of the first cargo shipment from North to South.
MV VIETSUN RELIANCE – the 5th container ship in the fleet of Nhat Viet Joint Stock Company – Vietsun Shipping Lines (Vietsun Lines) has docked at Ben Nghe port (HCMC), closing the trans-Vietnam transport journey from Hai Phong Port, via Cua Lo Port (Nghe An) and arrived on schedule.
This is also the first voyage of MV VIETSUN RELIANCE, which was put into operation by Vietsun Shipping Lines in early October this year. The expansion of the Vietsun fleet aims to increase transport capacity and consolidate Vietsun Lines' position on the North - Central - South coastal transport route.

Increasing competitiveness in the domestic shipping industry
Putting MV Vietsun Reliance into operation not only increases cargo transport capacity but also demonstrates Vietsun's determination to optimize inland waterway transport routes - a strategic solution in the context of road infrastructure still under pressure and domestic logistics costs remaining high.
In addition, Vietsun's fleet addition not only increases the quantity but also improves the quality of operations, helping businesses be more proactive in their operating schedules, increase reliability, thereby improving service quality and maintaining market share in the face of increasingly fierce competition from domestic carriers.
Promoting inter-regional logistics connectivity
The journey of MV Vietsun Reliance, connecting key ports from North to South, not only helps goods circulate more conveniently between economic regions but also plays an important role in linking the domestic supply chain with the international logistics network through transit ports such as Hai Phong, and in the future Da Nang, Cat Lai and Cai Mep - Thi Vai in case Vietsun expands the exploitation route for MV Vietsun Reliance outside current route.
The Vietsun Reliance ship docking at Ben Nghe port this morning is a clear demonstration of the operational capacity and the growing potential for domestic transport development of Vietsun Shipping Company.
