On February 10, 2026, the People's Committee of Nghe An province issued Decision No. 545/QD-UBND on the announcement of the list of administrative procedures that have been amended and supplemented in the field of maritime and inland waterways under the management of the Department of Construction.
Accordingly, the list includes 13 procedures related to the import of ships for dismantling, operation of submarines, licensing of maritime flares, crew training, approval of ship dismantling plans, dredging of channels, and receiving dredged material. The decision also assigns responsibility for developing internal and electronic procedures to relevant agencies to improve the efficiency of handling administrative procedures.
Notably, this document simultaneously abolishes 9 previous procedures under Decision No. 2113/QD-UBND dated July 3, 2025, demonstrating an adjustment in line with the new decentralization and delegation of power mechanisms of the locality.
The decision takes effect from the date of signing and is expected to contribute to simplifying procedures and promoting maritime and inland waterway transport activities in the region.
