The project to build an aviation logistics center combined with a duty-free zone at Long Thanh International Airport is receiving strong consensus from management agencies - opening up the opportunity to form the first free trade zone associated with the largest international airport in Vietnam.
📍 According to the Ministry of Construction, the goal of the project is to turn Long Thanh into a leading international air cargo transit center in the Asia-Pacific region.
In the master plan of Long Thanh airport, “Cargo City” with an area of 136 hectares will be the core of a modern and synchronous aviation logistics center.

In particular, Long Thanh Logistics Center will connect directly with Cai Mep - Thi Vai deep-water port cluster, forming a professional maritime - air multimodal transport chain, creating a strategic logistics axis for the Southeast region and Ho Chi Minh City.
