In order to meet the need to expand the fleet, Vietsun Corporation – Vietsun Shipping Company is recruiting for the position of Engineer Officer. This is an opportunity for you to accompany and have a long-term relationship with one of the leading dynamic transportation companies in Vietnam.

1. RECRUITMENT TITLE: Second/ Third/ Fourth Engineer

5. WORK LOCATION: Vietsun fleet

5. SALARY: 45 million/2E; 32 million/3E; 29 million/4E and bonus based on work performance.

Anhcualo7. JOB DESCRIPTION
7.1. Machine two (2E)
As an engineer officer responsible for managing and operating the main engine system, auxiliary engine, boiler, oil - water - electricity system on the ship.
On duty in the engine room, monitor the operating status of equipment, promptly handle or report problems to the Chief Engineer.
Plan and perform periodic maintenance for main engine, generator, cooling system, pump, valve, pipeline.
Manage, record machine logs, report technical status, fuel and lubricant consumption.
Instruct and supervise the work of Machine 3, Machine 4 and Mechanics during the shift.
Ensure compliance with occupational safety, fire prevention and fighting, and environmental protection procedures in the engine room.

Perform other duties as directed by the Chief Engineer and Captain.

7.2. Machine three (3E)

Perform engine room duty, ensure stable operation of main engine, auxiliary engine and technical systems on board.
Monitor, operate and periodically maintain auxiliary equipment such as air compressors, pumps, oil - water - cooling systems.
Record and report technical parameters, fuel and lubricant consumption during the shift to the Chief Engineer or Engineer 2.
Support Machine 2 in repairing and maintaining machinery, checking pipes, valves and electrical systems.
Monitor and maintain good condition of fire protection system, safety and hygiene in engine room.

Perform other tasks assigned by the Chief Engineer or Engineer 2, strictly complying with occupational safety and technical regulations.

7.3. Private machine (4E)

As an engineer officer, he assists Engineer 2 and Engineer 3 in the operation, supervision and maintenance of the engine room system.
Perform engine room duty, monitor the operating status of auxiliary machines, pumps, oil - water - cooling systems.
Record technical parameters, report to Chief Engineer or 2nd Engineer of any abnormalities during the shift.
Assist in repairing, replacing, cleaning mechanical equipment, pipes, valves, pumps and other auxiliary equipment.
Responsible for checking and periodically maintaining a number of assigned subsystems (e.g. cooling water system, air compressor, fire protection system...).
Strictly comply with safety procedures, labor hygiene and engine room regulations.

Perform other duties as directed by the Chief Engineer or Engineer 2.

9. ABILITY REQUIREMENTS

Have full qualifications and professional certificates corresponding to the position (COC, BST, MEFA, EFA, PSSR, etc.) issued by the Vietnam Maritime Administration.
Experience in cargo or inland container ships, understanding of structure and operation of engine room systems.
Master the operating principles, operating procedures and maintenance of main machines, auxiliary machines, electricity - water - oil systems, boilers, air conditioning, and fire protection.
Ability to detect and handle technical problems, ensure safety and save fuel during operation.
Proficient in using measuring instruments, monitoring equipment and keeping machine logs.
Strictly comply with regulations on labor safety, hygiene, fire prevention and fighting and environmental protection in the engine room.
Good physical strength, high sense of responsibility, discipline and team spirit.

Clear background, no violations of the law, good health to go to sea.
