In order to meet the need to expand the fleet, Vietsun Corporation - Vietsun Shipping Company is recruiting for the position of Chief Engineer. This is an opportunity for you to accompany and have a long-term relationship with one of the leading dynamic transportation companies in Vietnam.

1. RECRUITMENT TITLE: Chief Engineer

6. SALARY: 55-60 million/month and bonus based on work performance. Total income ranges from 70-80 million/month.

As the highest-ranking person in charge of the engine department, he is fully responsible for the management, operation and maintenance of the ship's engine room technical system.
Manage and assign work to engineering officers and mechanics; supervise the implementation of maintenance, repair and cleaning of engine room.
Ensure safe, stable and efficient operation of main machines, auxiliary machines, electricity - water - oil systems, boilers, cooling systems and other technical equipment.
Plan periodic maintenance and repair, inspect and evaluate equipment condition, propose necessary materials and spare parts for ship operations.
Manage fuel, lubricants, fresh water, spare parts and technical materials, ensuring economical and proper use.
Record and control engine logs, periodically report on technical status and fuel consumption to the Captain and the company.
Train and instruct machine crew members, ensure compliance with safety procedures, fire prevention and environmental protection.
Responsible for coordinating with the Captain in all operations, maneuvering and ensuring the overall safety of the ship.

Perform other duties as directed by the Captain and as required by company regulations.

9. ABILITY REQUIREMENTS

Have full professional certificates and Chief Engineer's license issued by Vietnam Maritime Administration, suitable for the capacity and operating route of the ship.
Experience as Chief Engineer or Second Engineer on cargo ship, container ship or equivalent ship.
Master the structure, operating principles and operation and maintenance procedures of the entire engine room technical system.
Ability to plan, organize, supervise and control engineering, handle incidents quickly, accurately and safely.
Proficient in recording, managing machine logs, technical reports and managing fuel - materials - spare parts.
Have leadership skills, training and evaluating human resources capacity in the machine department.
Strictly comply with regulations on labor safety, fire prevention and fighting, environmental protection and company rules.
Have professional style, high sense of responsibility, discipline, honesty and ability to coordinate well with the Captain.

Good health, clear background, no violations of the law.
