In order to meet the need to expand the fleet, Vietsun Corporation – Vietsun Shipping Company is recruiting for the position of Chief Officer. This is an opportunity for you to accompany and have a long-term relationship with one of the leading dynamic transport companies in Vietnam.

1. RECRUITMENT TITLE: Chief Officer

2. DEPARTMENTS/DEPARTMENTS: Ship Management Department

3. NUMBER OF RECRUITMENT: In reality

4. DIRECT MANAGEMENT: Head of Ship Management Department

5. WORK LOCATION: VIETSUN fleet

6. SALARY: 45-49 million/month, salary increase every 2 years depending on the evaluation and recommendation of the Captain; TP.QLT and monthly performance bonus. Total income from 55-60 million/month.

1 17. JOB DESCRIPTION

As the Deck Officer after the Captain, responsible for managing all activities on deck.
Direct and supervise the work of Deck Officers, Sailors, Electricians and deck personnel.
Manage, plan and supervise cargo loading and unloading, anchoring, docking and leaving the pier, ensuring safety and efficiency.
Responsible for safety, lifesaving, firefighting, and environmental (ISM, ISPS) operations on board.
Perform cruise watch and maneuver the ship as directed by the Captain.
Maintain, inspect, record logs, deck logs, and ensure the vessel is in good technical condition.

Act on behalf of the Captain in his absence.

9. ABILITY REQUIREMENTS

Have full professional certificates as prescribed (COC of corresponding class, GOC, BST, Radar/ARPA, ECDIS, etc.).
Have experience as Chief Officer or have worked as Second Officer on an equivalent ship.
Master the process of cargo management, maritime safety, fire prevention and fighting and ship security.
Proficient in deck personnel management, work assignment and performance monitoring.
Ability to plan, coordinate work, keep logs and manage technical documentation.
Possess good leadership, decision making and communication skills with Captain, Officers and Crew.

Good physical strength, high sense of responsibility, no violation of the law, clear background.
