It&#039;s not a replacement for sea transport, but rather a supplementary solution that gives businesses more flexibility in balancing cost, speed, and reliability.<\/p><p>Vietnam currently has many opportunities to participate more deeply in the transcontinental logistics network through its railway system connecting with China and the Asia-Europe railway line. If effectively utilized, this network will expand trade space, enabling Vietnamese goods to access many new markets with more stable delivery times.<\/p><p>However, to fully realize its potential, the logistics industry still needs to address several bottlenecks, such as railway infrastructure, connectivity between freight stations, seaports, inland container depots (ICDs), and industrial zones; improve transshipment capacity, standardize border procedures, and develop comprehensive logistics services such as cargo consolidation, customs clearance, warehousing, insurance, and tracking.
